Position Responsibilities
The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:
- Support the day to day operations of AISIN service parts business, including pre and post-sales support.
- Manage component supply from suppliers to customer
- Process selected orders
- Coordinate part number updates and launches, both internally and with customers.
- Aid team in the development of new products and customers
- Pricing and market analysis, as required
- Help manage product and pricing information
- Manage and negotiate warranty claims with customers and suppliers
- Visits to customers to maintain relationships, support launches and expand business
- Create story telling PowerPoint materials (for both internal and customer review)
- Support managers and upper management as required during office visits and trade shows.
- Coordinate with other departments and group companies, as required
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Data mining from Internet
- Strong Excel skills to create graph and charts (Intermediate Excel knowledge required such as: IF, LEN, LEFT, RIGHT AND, MID, DATE, TEXT... functions)
- Strong PowerPoint skills to create presentation materials
- Strong customer service skills
Beneficial Skills and Experience
- Automotive industry experience a plus
- Reman parts experience a plus
- Japanese language is helpful, but not required
Education/Training/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree
Work Environment Requirements
- Must be able to operate a personal computer, telephone and other office equipment.
- Must perform job duties onsite, except those duties that are customarily or by their nature performed offsite (for example, offsite customer visits). Hybrid work schedule may also be arranged, if approval granted by manager.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where constructive criticism is encouraged.
- Must be able to work on multiple assignments at once, and complete assignments within deadline and budget (if applicable) with satisfactory quality.
- Must be able to operate as an effective team member.
- Must be committed to a high standard of safety, and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all company safety policies.
Attendance/Work Hour Requirements
- Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Must be willing and available to work such weekends and holidays as necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
Travel Requirements
- Approximately 10 %
- Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
