Summary:

This position will manage activities associated with the Human Resources function. Their duties will be adjusted depending on skill-set and efficiency.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Follow General Administration Section Level Hoshin Kanri and targets
  • Develop plans to obtain General Administration Section and company targets; this may include preparing policy and procedures for acceptance
  • Responsible for all legal procedures concerning company operations
  • Responsible for all public relations and community activities
  • Management of general affairs and office management including: company vehicles, parking areas, and offices areas
  • Oversight of Human Resources functions including: management of recruiting and hiring, all internal transfer activities, and overtime
  • Administration of salaries & benefits
  • Employee Relations activities to include: initial investigations and dispute resolutions
  • Ensure exempt and non-exempt employees receive required legal training
  • Assisting with Budgetary Fiscal Planning and ensuring operations within approved budget
  • Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate HR, Safety, and Security standards
  • Perform all other reasonably related tasks within the company as required by management

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Human Resources exempt and non-exempt personnel (Ex: Representatives, Clerks, etc.)

 

Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws
  • Complete process of knowledge
  • Excellent written communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Possess a cooperative personality and be able to interact well with coworkers
  • Be a positive liaison for the company
  • Lead, Motivate, and Manage others
  • Must be able to effectively change tasks at a moment's notice when the situation requires
  • Understand, follow, and implement posted work rules and company procedures
  • Ability to function independently without requiring assistance from/or disturbing others

 

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or direct work experience required
  • Applicable experience in Human Resources and/or Training
  • Management experience required
  • Electronics experience desired
  • Automotive experience desired

 

Organizational Relationships:

  • All other Aisin Electronics Inc. Departments
  • Aisin Corporate Headquarters Members
  • All other various outside vendors, and local community members
  • Local, State, and Federal Agencies

 

Work Environment:

  • Open HR Office with constant activity and interaction with cross-functional divisions, departments, and sections
  • Some dust, noise, oils, greases, grinding debris, compressed air, metal shavings, propane, and solvents associated with a manufacturing environment
  • Occasional lifting
  • Minimal exposure to hazardous machinery and/or conditions that could result in injury up to and including a fatality if safety measures are not followed or adhered to
  • Minimal exposure to shop elements (listed above)
  • The performance of this position normally requires exposure related to that of general office work with minimal exceptions
  • There are areas that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety shoes & glasses
